Manaslu
Adventure
This trek and climb takes
one into a restricted area of Nepal near the peaks Manaslu (7th highest peak in the world)
and Annapurna (10th highest).
We start out trek by helicopter. The route
takes us around the Manaslu massif and over the Larkya La pass (17,500ft). These remote
areas are the land of nomads and other cultures heavily influenced by the rich culture of
Tibet. It is a rare opportunity to experience one if the most fascinating and resonant
places in the world. It is a land of unparalleled beauty carved out of stone, snow and sky
punctuated with beautiful Buddhist temples and shrines.
We will climb the Peak of Larkya (19,800 ft.)
from the pass and after a rest day, continue into a beautiful valley which leads us to the
Annapurna area. This trip has been developed exclusively by our Nepal guides.
Expect to see miles of incredible terrain and
interact with unique cultures still unaffected by modern tourism in Nepal. Because of its
remoteness and restrictedness we can expect few, if any, other trekkers along this route.

The Rolwalling Valley "Nowhere else does the Arctic
plunge to Tropical with such dramatic Force"
-Tom Weir, Scottish Himalayan
Expedition ,1951
This trek travels through a remote and scenic
part of central Nepal finishing in the Sherpa center, Namche Bazaar. It is unique in that
it travels from the extremely lush lowlands at 3000ft. up and over glaciers and the high
pass Tesi Labtsa at over 18,000ft.
Along the way we will see a part of Nepal and
Sherpa culture that very few tourists will see in this day and age. The Rolwalling is an
ideal place to see the spring blooms and green pastures of the herding villages and our
route follows a powerful river which affords many astonishing vistas.
Our gradual ascent will afford us ample time
to acclimatize and remain fit. The final few few days promise to be strenuous while
crossing the glaciers and the Tesi Labtsa pass, yet incredibly rewarding.

mountains of Ladakh on the North side.
This trip takes you along a military road
cutting through the Himalayas of North India, over some of the highest passes attainable
by road in the world and through some of the most dramatic awe inspiring terrain ever.
Deep gorges, lush valleys and the bare desert of the Tibetan plateau.
We will cross the Rohtang pass
(3980m/13,100ft), the Lachalung (5065m/16,700ft), the Tangnang (5360m/17,600ft) and

wonderful place to end and a great place to explore. It is a highly rewarding trip not for
the casual rider!

Three Kingdoms Village Trek Between the lush lowland jungles and grasslands and
the high Himalayan Peaks live almost half of the population of Nepal. Many of the ancient
ethnic groups of Nepal live in these foothills of the country. This trek gives one a
unique opportunity to travel through the lower hills of the Himalaya and stay in villages
that are rarely, if ever, frequented by tourists.
Mr. K.P. Kafle, our Nepal director, has
developed this route exclusively. In addition to witnessing indigenous living cultures,
this itinerary gives one the opportunity to see the Terai and all its wildlife, as well as
getting a once in a lifetime view of the worlds tallest mountain. It is a wonderful way to
get a glimpse into the incredible diversity of culture and landscape in such a small
country.

Mera
and Island Peaks This climb brings
one into the not often traveled parts of the Khumbu, the region overseen by Mt. Everest.
It is a true mountaineering objective combining the summits of two great peaks, glacier
travel and high altitude with an incredible view of Mt. Everest, the Lhotse-Nuptse massif,
Makalu, Kanchenjunga and the surrounding mountains and glaciers.
After the impressive approach to Mera and
summiting we will descend off the back side into the uninhabited Hongu Valley remaining
above 5000m. To exit this valley we cross the Amphu Labtsa Pass, which will require some
roped travel. Island Peak or Imja Tse, will be an easier approach, yet provide us with
climbing difficulties of a slightly higher grade. Our itinerary leaves plenty of time for
proper acclimatization or possible delays caused by weather.
